We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Analyst, Financial to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for financial decision-making. The Analyst, Financial will collaborate with department heads to collect financial data, prepare forecasts, and assist with budget planning and analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of financial accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process by preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports, analyzing variances, and ensuring accurate and timely recording of all transactions.
  • Develop financial forecasts with detailed analysis for management review.
  • Provide reports and data to government authorities such as the Ministry of Industry and Ministry of Energy.
  • Analyze business and financial data to identify trends and risks.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
  • Provide expert advice and innovative solutions to complex financial issues.
  • Track financial performance against the budget and analyze business performance monthly.
  • Identify financial performance trends, risks, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare accounting reports and projections based on analysis performed.
  • Evaluate capital expenditure and asset depreciation.
  • Prepare reports on over/under absorption of overheads.
  • Manage all types of insurance and claims for the company.
  • Develop financial models to support decision-making.
  • Create automated reporting and forecasting tools for efficient use of data.
  • Prepare presentations for Management, Audit Committee, Ex-com, Executive Board.
  • Prepare detailed analysis and commentary for publication in the Saudi stock exchange as per CMA requirements.
  • Review all company expenses and identify expense trends.
  • Finalize market rates for Net Realizable Value calculations.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certificate such as CPA, CIMA, ACCA, CA, etc.

Experience:

  • 2 to 10 years of related financial planning experience, preferably in a chemical or petrochemical industry.

Job Skills / Knowledge:

  • Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and principles, designs, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Proficiency in financial forecasting and information analysis.
  • Ability to work with financial databases and reporting systems.
  • Strong presentation, reporting, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
