Job Purpose / Summary:

The Sales Representative is the main point of contact between the organization and its customers. They communicate with customers, promote company products, obtain necessary information from customers regarding their requirements, take orders, close deals, and follows-up orders. Each Sales Responsible has a designated area/product line. This position covers different titles like Sales Specialist, Sr.Sales Specialist, Lead Sales Representative, etc.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote, develop, and maintain relationship with existing customers and interact with new prospects to increase sales;
  • Achieve sales volume targets and maximize contribution for assigned accounts.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding the product and its uses; and provide information, commercial terms, and other contract-specific data to the customers;
  • Attend to customer complaints, investigate problems, and resolve them without delay following customer complaint procedure;
  • Work jointly with sales and marketing management on larger and more complex accounts.
  • Understand the department hierarchy and appreciates guidance from management when needed while exercising their basic decision-making.
  • Prepares reports on sales and marketing results, backlog, forecast, the status of accounts, market situation, and competition activities and behavior.
  • Follow the company standard concepts, practices, and procedures.

 

Education:

  • University Degree from a reputable university in Management/Engineering/ Business / Industry.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).

 

Experience:

  • 2 to 4 years experience in selling chemical and industrial products locally and globally; dealing with clients, understanding their requirements, and maintaining excellent relationships with the customers to foster repeat business.
  • Fresh graduate with minimum experience that has the potential and ability to learn quickly and assume the job independently within a short period.
